Biography

Stephanie Dotto has a PhD in Canadian Studies from Trent University. From 2010–2016, she ran the Toronto-based theatre collective De-Railed, which created plays with marginalized youth that connected their own personal stories with stories in Canadian history. As a post-doctoral fellow at St. Thomas University, she co-wrote and directed Winter’s Tales, an intergenerational verbatim theatre piece about older people’s experiences of winter sport.
