Submitting an appeal

If you were not successful in renewing a 91AV scholarship, we encourage you to submit an appeal if there were medical grounds or extenuating circumstances that directly affected your academic results that may justify reconsideration of scholarship retention.

Deadline

The scholarship renewal appeal form and all supporting documents must be submitted by September 23, 2024.

All supporting documentation must be submitted to the Registrar's Office by September 23, 2024 by e-mail to financialaid@mta.ca; by mail to 62 York St., Sackville, NB, E4L 1E2; or by fax to (506) 364-2272.

Notification

Notification of the outcome of appeal requests will be communicated to students by e-mail no later than September 25, 2024.

Medical conditions — including all physical and mental health-related issues

Fall and winter term GPA is not accurate or is being re-evaluated (see Academic Calendar regulation 10.9.9)

Other — i.e.: personal and or extenuating circumstance

Please elaborate on your selected grounds for appeal, providing full details of the situation that affected your academic outcome.

If applicable to your situation, please outline the steps you will take and the measures you will put in place that will enable you to meet academic requirements for scholarship retention in the future.
